finally today is the last heat transfer practical for the sem...that's great! it means the end of all the grilling by that horrible lecturer,miss ST phua..and also last monday is the last BIA practical..its quite pity as it will be my last time entering chemistry lab, holding test tubes and do analysis of any kind of weird species u can think of....as for fluid mechanics A the last practical will be on next monday...so what? i still have to come to that W318 lab again when i am in 3rd year..W318 is so hot lor(not like W314 or W316 also chem engg labs but got air con one!), still have to come again for final yr experiment,sianz! so far only left with PI pract that has yet to be concluded....

But there's one thing i'm assured of: by the time the 3-week long term breaks comes in two weeks time, i can slack le!!! that's because all 3 practicals are down so dun need to do anymore datasheets and reports liao. the only thing i need to do during the breaks are only PI practical datasheet, and studying for BIA and fluid mech tests...since i have nothing much to do during the term breaks, i think i will find a job to kill my boredom as well as to tide over my current financial problems...all thanks to money, my family is now in a mess. my mum have problems settling all the bills and my brother is psychologically and mentally unstable,so sometimes if u say something that he dun like to listen(means u insult him), he will lose control of himself and become violent of all sudden and go into silence after a while...the saying" Money is the root to all evils" is damned indeed man! luckily just now ashik asked me to join him and gerald to go interview at his former workplace toysaurus at orchard, or else i have to spend time keep finding jobs...

another good thing to share with u: i recently received a letter from M1,saying that i just won a pair of free GV movie tickets from a lucky draw. wah,i tot i kenna fined from them,but after read that letter i was so delighted that being a loyal customer can have rewards one.. i think i will claim the free tickets this coming weekend and i plan to ask YY,meng suan and others along for movie next week since we are quite free next week (no test lah!) but only one person can use the other free ticket apart from mine loh...

Maciks & me(top right hand corner) at ITO

yes ,this picture is the i took with my macik colleagues on my last day at ITO. Actually i wanted to upload this memorable picture, into this blog but always cant find the time to do so..Well,do u know something? the macik standing on my right only get to know my name on that dayalthough we often greet each other and crake jokes whenever i walked past her work station.... i remember that day i was having a so-called dinner break(last for 15 min) coz i have OT that day since its my last day so i intend to spend more time with fellow work friends..notice that these 3 maciks are wearing different colored uniform from mine? they are from the molding department(they noisy place where u get to interact with the injection molding machines) and i was from fitting department...

the most memorable thing is that she is the one who make me feel that i am not a lone ranger at all. i rememeber on my last day when i was having my last break b4 i leave ITO, i was buying a bread with peanut butter from a vending machine, so when this kind auntie say hello to me, i was so happy.. i inform her that day (friday,22/9/06) would be my last day and ask me why? coz i need to go back to school on monday...so she wish me the best..but when she saw me buying the peanut bread she immediately offer me her triangular sized curry puff(i think it is big enuf to make u full) as she claims that she cant finish it...wow,such a kind macik i have ever seen,when i know that that coming sunday is the start of ramandan(the fasting month),so i felt quite bad eating away her dinner as she can eat it while she haven fast yet...

anyway i feel very happy to spend time with those maciks in the picture during the break,and i stayed around for 25min(go back sure kanna scold by ah Loy!)..i sudedenly felt that i have gained so many friends..that auntie even tell others that i am not her friend, but her GODSON!!! i was so delighted,man! she really treats me better than my own mother,think my mum should learn from her liao...

hmm,actually working with those aunties can be very shiok lor,u can tok a lot with them one and they can also treat u like their own children(last time i used to think the macik very boring to work with,but i have changed my mindset)...

there's a Chinese saying: 在家靠家人,在外靠朋友. For my case,i think this is absolutely true for me because i have gained a mother who really takes care of me outside the home...so b4 i went back to work, this macik suggested that we took a photo to keep them for memories...see the picture above and u will know how happy am i when i took photos with them(although i do not know them well),although the photo was not well taken,lol....

hello... finally today is the last day of e-learning week...hmm,still have Fluid mechanics A, PI and plant utilities to settle....hopefully today can finish all the assignment. Ok,so far i have done most part of my BIA report,only left with the discussion and the results which have yet to be collected from my classmates,coz last monday they have screw up the experiment and had to come back again this week to re-do in order to get a better result...Well,this is good because if we were to use the original result,we would have very hard time to explain the results le..haiz....

me busy these few days never had a proper rest, luckily got Jun Cong, my Si3 tang3 (buddy) whom i have known for almost 2 years, called me to ask me to join him to have lunch @ the African restaurant(he call them blacky and i thought he was referring to the indians..lol..),he say their food very shiok and delicious but the problem is that my ulcer has yet to be gone...u now that when u have ulcer its very heartache that u cant eat anything u like...such as fried chicken,fish and chips and those very spicy food, and of course like those buffet meal like SEOUL GARDEN, my fav food palace....let hope that by today my ulcer can recover fully so that i can enjoy myself at that african restaurant at mustafa centre tomorrow....

today is the 3rd day of e-learning week... so far i have done engineering maths,heat transfer,BIA,and tissue engg(gem) e-learning assignmnt..still left with fluid mech A,PI and plant utilities assignment...fuck it! the fluid mech e-learning stuff is fucking sucks lor...dunnoe why cannot log into the package files,dun think i am able to do it today...must ask Kon to settle it for us...ok la,think today will start doing the BIA report le...dun think these few days will do blogging cuz will be busy with e-learning stuff nowadays so those who have been loyally reading my blog pls be patient with me,yeah?..ok gtg now..

today is the 2nd day of official e-learning week...so far this is the 3rd time SP is conducting the e-learning scheme...haix...sian...sure got a lot of e-learning assignment coming up. whenever e-learning is coming i would sian diao. although i dun have to come to school this week,but i can be flooded with just e-learning assignments alone! some more i have to complete my existing practical reports and study for BIA(basic instrumental analysis)test right after this week..let me see..so far i have done the engineering maths 2a,BIA and heat transfer for e-learning,for others like PI(process instrumentation) and tissue engineering are partially done...think today will try to finish fluid mech A e-learning..tomorrow then start doing BIA report(sian ah,the experiment result not settle yet! how to do report sia?) and fluid mechanics report...followed by doing plant utilities and PI e-learning assignment with my pract grp members and then have PI make-up pract on friday....

alamak,u see,this week damn hiong lor...si bei sian..seems like this week is the time for me to tidy up watever unfinished work i have left...like BIA report,fluid mechanics A report,make up pract for PI and fluid mech as well as doing the tutorials for watever modules and the most important thing is to STUDY FOR BIA TEST!!!

aniwae, i feel happy for my two tests last week. for heat transfer,i have got 46/50 and for plant utlities i got 36/40..hurray..especially for heat transfer test cuz i thought i might have lose a lot of marks coz of Q2,when the question ask u to calculate the heat transfer coefficient,hi. i have calculated the necessary data by"interpolation" to find the Reynold number followed by the heat transfer coefficient using the correlation...i have got all these properties correct and my method is correct,but it end up my final answer wrong! my answer is 867W/m2.K but the correct answer is one tenth of what i had calculated,the subsequent question also kanna affected...oh shit! a difference of 10 times,man...i tot i had screw up the whole thing liao...but the good thing is that i didn get deducted much for the answer error,at least i still get some method marks..yahoo! u know i'm so surprised i can score so high that i can do better than those who are usually better than me in studies..lol...

ok la...gtg now to meet meng suan and others for maths pbl as well as attending the fluid mechanics A e-lecture at his place............

It has been a very long while since i last blog... all this while during the sept holidays, i have been working in a small company called ITO,its a japanese company manufacturing mainly plastic parts,though its started by a jap boss,but its malay-dominated working place(the prayer room,many malay workers and all the supervisors are malay can tell u that)...though i am quite fine working there, i do feel very miserable when i met this gang of ppl...Soe,Elhazeeq,Ferdaus,and Camen... the first time working with them was not very smooth... initially we started out quite well but only after some time we started to have many conflicts...

the first thing i want to say is that my first day at ITO company was quite a 'wet' one..why? coz that day christine and jo called me early in the morning and ask me to report to ITO at 1pm on my own...i got to take bus 182 from boon lay bus interchange at 12 plus coz the place is damn far...at tuas south street 3...that day was a heavy rainy day,and i didn have my umbrella with me,so when i alight i was drenched like ayam(chicken)...some more,christine din tell me exactly the address of ITO,causing me to search up and down for that word "ITO" in the stretch of tuas south street 2 in such a wet weather...luckily i was very near that company,so i reached quite soon...the first thing i did there is to report to the office there...

i report to the reception counter lady there who was surprised to see me so heavily drenched,and she asked me to wait for at the conference room while she do some admin work for me...the waiting was damned long lor as the air son there was quite strong and i was drenched,u noe...after i have gotten my work uniform and changed into it in the toilet, the first person i saw is Raizan,my supervisor for production department....

Raizan was a young and handsome guy...but when i first talked to him,i nearly speak out mandarin to him coz he really looks like a chinese as i tot he was a chinese...it was after a few days after i worked there then i realised he was a malay when my colleagues told me that raizan was a singaporean and he can speak malay when he interviewed him...i just cant believe it lor! lol...after that he give me my locker key and tap card (just like punch card) and get me ready for work..only then i reached my workstation then i feel a bit comfortable coz the place there quite hot...

now the next thing is about my fellow colleague,SOE...when i first knew Soe, i thought he was a malay guy as he really looks like a malay..only after i heard him speaking to my leader,ah Loy,in mandarin, then i knew that he is not a local..he is a chinese Burmese guy from myanmar..just like Htein lin i knew in sec school,and coincidentally they actually knew each other since young..both of them are currently classmates studying diploma in aerospace electronics.. although when i first knew soe we had no feud with each other but i had a strong feeling that that he is no simple guy...because of his looks and speech and his behaviour...

he is extremely friendly to all the staff in ito..he keep smiling to them and i can't help thinking that he is a hypocrite,right from the start,...i know there is a saying that one should not judge a book by its cover,but as i got to know him longer this suspicion came true.. he is right. he says on the 1st day he smile to the staff there to show that he is not snobbish person,or dao and he says that he make friends with anyone,be it old,young,fat,skinny,rich,poor,pretty or ugly..ya..that's right,so that he can show off his attitude and insult,bully or or being sarcastic to them when he know their weaknesses...this is what happened to me then..after which he form a small "colony" of his own(together with ferd,zeeq and camen) then can resume back to his own personality that is to show his attitude among his colony...what the...how "fake" he is!!!

the real disaster came when i left my cleaning and fiiting department and shift over to ferd's and soe's work station... there's one day when i go toilet and urinate in the cubicle...then soe came after i exited the cubicle and washed my hand..not long after i heard him spouting out vulgarity(4-letter word) when he saw what is in the cubicle and delibrately shouted "who never flushed the toilet?!" hey i got flush de lor but i dun want to argue with him as it was working hours..after this incident i tot he never follow up...on one saturday that is hazeeq's bdae,only i,soe and ferd come 2 work...

in the afternoon when i come over to their side and helped out,i saw ferd is wearing a badge and i ask what badge is that? then he say its a badge for being most efficient (he pronounced it as "yee-fee-sient") worker...actually that badge is one of the plastic parts and he use it for fun..but i correct him by saying the word "air-fee-cient"..nothing happened but when i and others continue to do our work and and when i was removing the plastics from the jig,the plastic drops and i din bother to pick it up and continue to do work..then soe take this chance to say some sarcastics remarks "hey how efficient("air-fee-cient") of u,man! i think u should wear ferd's badge" when i heard him keep emphasising that word i knew that he is going to make life difficult for me... All thanks to that thermo-cum-heat transfer lecturer ST phua,or cP,watever u may call her,i got all these nonsense from all these ppl!...Efficient...must settle scores with u one day,ST phua...lol...

the following week, i saw 3cartoon drawings on a piece od papaer by ah man,my creative colleagues,depicting the pictures of Soe,the rooster head, ferd the da4 li4 shi4(macho), and zeeq the auntie-killer(including ah Loy!) ...then when i saw another piece of paper showing the drawing of a person which is toking abt me(such as never flushed the toilet bowl,"what de...,"air-fee-cient",the specky guy with moustache,luckily mole on my face is not mentioned cux they dun noticed it)...i was so mad!!! i certainly had a strong feeling that the prime culprit for this drawing was Soe...yet he dare to say that he dun noe who done it and the next moment he knew who did this stupid and lame things but he say it must be someone who dun like me...

i simply dun like the face of his,full of fakeness and hypocripsy...So sarcastic he is!!! but i didn confront him as i want to be a more forgiving person...so these few days i had been labelled as "mr Efficient" by Khine Soe(in actual fact he is not a kind soul at all!)

and few days later he come and talk to me,appearing to be big-hearted person and says these few days he and others(excluding camen) were just trying to lighten the working atmosphere which was very boring...so they just want to tease me only...your foot ah! who'd believe u? Soe told me that i should take the GEM on using logic in an argument...he was trying to say that i dunno how to argue with ppl,so they might think i am a easy target to bully and insult..to think why am i so kind to tolerate them? tolerance brings peace ma....but with Soe's character the word 'peace' never appears in his dictionary. he had once considering whether to join the anti-IMF rioting group for the IMF and world bank meeting during september...

i knew that they meant to bully me verbally just because i am a person with poor attitude and so different from them..hey i just want to do my job and take away the money that i earned...well i am poor so i need $$$ even more urgent than anyone of these 4 ppl....i know that they are more fotunate ppl, can afford to enjoy pubbing and clubbing.. u see, i dun even know the difference b/w pubbing and clubbing..and anyhow say that the pub opens at 6pm instead of 7pm the standard time and i got laughed by camen...

well i am left with no choice but to work hard and i dun think they should gloat over my plight..they actually say that they dun have to go thru the hardship as they are provided by their parents...especially soe...i know ur parents are supporting u in your buying of a motor bike u had longing for..even if u cant make $1k within the 3 weeks we worked u can still realised your dreams...yet u still dare to splatter ur sarcasm on my last days...So what if u can end work early to enjoy ur friday nite with susana?so what i need the OT to survive? its none of ur business! U go and enjoy ur blessed life,all i care!

i remember on my last day,22nd sept, soe delibrately asking me how's my sec and pri school life and further ask me if i had been bullied before during school times or else why i got bullied in workplace? and he left a remark saying that"its a shame that i din enjoy my work there" so what? my primary purpose of going to work is to earn $$$...i know u had many friends there so u say to me that when u leave u will get present from ur colleagues and they will miss u...and u say my departure from ito is "not glorious" at all. u said that i had no friends when i tell u i almost forget who are my sec school friends' name and forget easily the person i used to talk to. But let me tell u,u were wrong!!! i would know who treat me better and who is nasty to me...i remenber u keep telling joke to me,in a form of riddles,and u think i dunno that u were trying to divert my attention while u were standing in a place where u can check the supervisor is coming and u want me to kenna scold by the supervisor rite? and u also want to insult me of me deprived of childhood rite?

SOE pls stop all ur nonsense!!! i know u are much fortunate than me and pls stop showing me your authority of bullying! u will get retribution one day!!! Enough said....GTG now...
