A good news to tell u guys. I have found a new job! this job is called the pump attendant. i'm doing this job as a part time basis. this job is simple,but can be risky if u are careless that u have pump the petrol for ur customers and they drive away without paying, then u will have to compensate for it. Sianz...

The basic pay is $4.50 per hour, with CPF deductable (haiz...less take home $$). the working hours are flexible,so i asked to work on Friday,saturday and sunday. For holidays,most probably i will work everyday from Monday to Friday. On normal days, i will work from 6pm to 10pm on alternate fridays if i have class that day,and 7am to 3pm if i have no school that day. For weekends, i will work from 7am to 3pm. My work location is at Holland V Esso station. haha,quite near my school..Although its quite tiring to start working from 7am as i have to wake up by 5.30am, thinking of knocking off at 3pm and i can earn money, i dun mind at all. LOLX!! All rite, really want to thank got God for helping me in this critical period,Thank u Lord!

Holiday mood?

hello, i'm back to blog liao...just to update, right now i'm having two weeks term break up to 24th June 2007,so me quite free now to blog...Well recently i have been busy doing my school assignment - SCB(specialty chemical&biodevices) pract report and case studies,sianz ah...but i finished doing both of them liao,whoo! then i have my plant design project W4 on equipment design,i chose the heat exchanger to design. Wah, heat exchanger is damned difficult and tedious to design lo..everything trial and error,but i managed to get the right specification at the end of the day,and also i have settled the P&ID(process control & instrumentation diagram) and the material selection of the heat exchanger liao...hooray! thanks to my chionging of school work these few days from monday to yesterday, or i wouldn't be relaxing and do my blogging right now...haha..

Actually i dun have to rush these things one, but since i'm so free, i might as well settle once and for all (一劳永逸), then i can relax a little after chionging, although i do feel stressed out by them...lol..

for bioprocess(BEP) pract datasheet, i have answered some of the questions there. the rest i will consult YY when school reopens and do the datasheet together. For the MTB(mass transfer B) report on drying of solid slab, i am the one in charge of compiling the report, and i have settled the writing of procedure of the experiment,but must wait for praveen to fifnish his calculation part before i can do the discussion of the results. i will be meeting him in school next week to see how his graphs looks like and then help him check the calculation and computation of results error....

As for my fyp, so far it has not shown any progress yet, Cecilia has gone abroad for holidays and will be back next wednesday, so i reckon we will continue after her return. However, i'm not going to stay idle for this project while waiting for her return.

I met Mr Edison J Loh,my environmental engineering lecturer cum my yr 2 sem1 class tutor, recently. He is right. He told me that in any of the projects we do, we shouldn't always asked to be "fed" by our project supervisor, and we should "feed" ourselves instead. Then we are able to learn something from it.This is part and parcel of life (or "bread-and-butter",quoting Dr Soo,my MTB lecturer) and we should practice in everyday life,including this fyp. I will heed his advice and do something abt abt my group's fyp. So I plan to do research on seeding particles, and if possible, on PIV and the electrolysis method to produce microbubble(which is proposed by YY) tomorrow, while waiting for Cecilia to come back from holidays.....

u know what? before my group is granted this project, i have been wanting to do the project on crystallisation. at least this project is something that i have studied recently in MTB module, then my group will at least have a good headstart. too bad that my group members din consider this project or i could have place this project on the 1st choice. 真是可惜啊.....

好了,现在已经下午四点了,我该去吃饭了, 不然肚子又呱呱叫咯...哈哈!!!

I must say that this sports complex is very considerate to visually-impaired person although this facilities is a copy cat of NEL...the tactile flooring is very user-friendly to them

I wanted to go inside the swimming complex and take a few snapshots of the facilities and people swimming, but yesterday was weekend, must pay $2 to enter,not worth it, so i manage to take those pictures at the 3rd floor of the bulding..lol...

CHC Emerge Conference

See this picture? i got this envelope when i attended the CHC Emerge conference yesterday evening. this is actually the envelope for putting ur offerings or tithes and this is given out before the service starts. i can't believe that even for tithing or giving offerings, the envelope must look "Professional"...Did u see the word "business reply service"? To me, giving offerings is a good way to show ur faith in Lord,but this kind of giving is like paying bills like that de, got a lot of burden, somemore, their way of giving can be done online or give cheque and must be payable to CHC. Wah, CHC so systematic sia...i feel like CHC is more like an organisation rather than an ordinary church. Everything there is so elaborated, just like the its own building at Jurong west site.

if those of u who have been to CHC building before, u should know how it look like. Just looking the exterior of the building alone, it looks so modern and the cost of building it must be in terms of millions. i was quite surprised that this church uses very material-Titanium to build the exterior of the bldg. What's the point of having such a beautifully buily church when the ppl there are not really united? i believe that there are some groups of pple who are not genuine converts and the reason why they go to CHC is not because of God,but for their own personal reason such as making more friends there, see chio bu, sing and jump during worship, and so on...these ppl are really there for selfish reasons. some of them come in fanciful dress, hairstyle, mp3,psp and many many .....

during the past few years with CHC, i realised that although CHC ppl wish to save their loved ones who is unchrist from the punishment of sins(which is death) and gain eternal lives by sharing gospel with them, CHC has been organising many activities such as the recent Carnival during the Easter service to attract ppl to attend their svc and increase the strength of the church. i felt that they are trying to fufil the puupose of their church instead of God's purpose.

The reason why unchrist ppl comes to church because of one wonderful person and that person is our Father God, not just because of the major events in the church. these ppl came just to enjoy the church activities and to know some new friends in church. For guys, they came to CHC because they can see chio bu and get their number as CHC produces a lot of babe....lol...

Well, these are just the incentives for ppl to get to know the church ppl and build a good relationship with them and thus the unchrist ppl would be more open to know about God and experience God's love for them. i think this is true way to convert ppl to christian.

For the service, one would think that everytime they attended CHC service is like thay are attending a live concert. this is because City harvest church is a modern charismatic church where the musicians are more into hard rock and techno and yet very devoted to God, thus the instruments used are those used in live band concert, so u wont see piano, harpsicord,violin all these classical instruments in high level energy church like CHC. most of the ppl there are youngsters, so u will see a lot of funky and rocky ppl out there, and CHC is right for them to live in the house of God...so check it out!!!

For yesterday's Emerge Conference service, it was very enjoyable as there are a no. of ompetitions during the svc, such as the beauty pageants and manhunt, Spelling bee, and also very exciting worship song Great is our God which is sang in 3 languages(English, Japanese and Mandarin). its too pity that i din record the song sia.......

CHC also invited some of the celebrities such Faye from F.I.R. , Daren Tan and Tan Diya from Project Superstar 2. Daren Tan and Diya sang a song each and they also perform a duet medley to sing a song called "Jin Sheng Zhu ding" and it was awesome sia...the whole church was energized with the presence of these 2 superstars....i think CHC service should invite some powerful singers to entertain the church in future sia...lol...
