Look at the following pictures. These are the pictures of the publications of Jehovah Witnesses(JW), or WatchTower Bible Tract Society(WBTS), that i possessed currently. Well, these are given by ppl from JW when i got to know them. These publications are known to be the "equipment" used in their bible studies with non-believers and the cuurent JW members. When i first received these, i have no idea why they gave me these. They claimed it to be a 'welcome' gift for me. They told me to use these publication diligently as they are teaching the "truth"... Is that so? At the first place i just accept these publication lor and try to read through them when i'm free. I discovered that what is taught inside the book(Bible Teach book) is significantly different from what is taught from other churches,eg. they call the Lord's name Jehovah(Jah),they dun belive in Trinity, dun believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross, they nvr celebrate "worldly" celebration such as Christmas Day,Easter,Halloween,etc. except one important day that is observance of Lord's Evening meal ceremony, and many others...

Bible Teach Book
Initially when i first met raymond, he gave me a publication, in the form of a magazine called " What does God requires of us?" (not shown above) he actually shares with me that there is kingdom of God,which is the heavenly government set up by Jehovah God, and Jeus did not actually died on a cross,but on a torture stake(Acts 5:30 NWT version)..on hearing what he says, i am becoming more curious abt God's word,which draws me to have bible study with JW ppl...My bible study with raymond was quite regular,we meet at least once a week to meet up for study either at my house's void-deck or somewhere at my school campus,SP. the bible study was such that we use the magazine he gave me as a "bible study tool", together with a bible, this bible study is in the form of Question and Answer format, where the answers to the question asked are found in the proceding paragraphs, and the paragraph number are indicated in brackets beside the corresponding qn asked. So we take turn to read paragraph by paragraph. As raymond is the conductor, he will ask the question correspond to the paragraph that had been read and i will try to find the answer in the paragraph. i think this is oso being done in this organisation during their meetings bah... i have read that this kind of bible study is JW society's way to train the learner to think like them..so scary~~~
JW believe tt whatever they teach the learner can always refer to the bible to confirm that they are teaching the truth or follows the bible. Of course they will say that la! this kind of things cannot bluff one lor,whatever they teach must be backed up by the Bible,or else the non-believers will think that they are teaching on a groundless basis,rite? But i think that JW are the ones who know how to play with words. By quoting or citing so many bible verses they are trying to convince the outsiders that they are teaching the God's Word,not theirs! pls la,everyone knows that lor!...
The Bible teach book(shown above) is actually given by my"buddy"(buddy before i truly realised JW is a cult),Dinesh. Raymond hands me over to him when he had left for australia liao..to my surprise,Dinesh is a very knowledgeable and very nice bible study conductor, although he may appear fierce at first.. my bible knowledge had became clearer when dinesh starts to take over raymond. the bible teach book is the 1st book that Dinesh gave me. i find that this book is more detailed than the magazine tat raymond gave me. Watever raymond has taught me b4, Dinesh has explained to me very clearly with a lot of interesting analogy and explanation...from then onwards, my study with din has been very exciting...Then Roy joined us, and i began to enjoy their company even more that i can't wait for the coming Thursday(cuz we always meet on every thursday for bible discussion, thursday was very convenient for dinesh and flexible for roy) to come and sit down and enjoy hearing the Word of God!
As my bible study progressed, i got to know them better. why i called them uncle because both of them are much older than me, Dinesh ,39 years old,and Roy,32 years old. i knew that both Dinesh and raymond are married and of the same age(they were classmates then),but Roy is still single..He actually tells me he din have a girlfrend is bcoz of the bible study and his commitment to this "church", but he looks very handsome leh although he nw old liao,so must haf attracted some very nice girls ma...from what i noe,members of JW have to attend meetings at least 5 times a week, most of them are bible discussion,with just like the Q& A session with Din and Roy, somemore they had Sunday public talks lor..In other countries,they had kingdom hall,but in s'pore they held it in homes..these meetings cannot pon one lor(means skip attending meetings) or else they'll start to call on u liao to noe what happened to u...no wonder Roy has no time for dating girls la! bt i wonder why Dinesh and Roy still ask me out to play tennis with other JW brothers,yet there were many occasions when i am unable to play with them(isit God's plan that i shouldn't mix with JW ppl?) Too bad....
anyway during these period i am glad to have both of them as my friends as well as "entertainers"... why? cuz they know how to share the jokes of bible principles! Their teachings were simply anti-Christian teachings,since they day they teach me that jesus died on a torture stake,not on a cross(to them in hebrew it means stauros which means a stake) and the cross should not be used in worship as it is a symbol of curse. although both of were very nice to me that i felt indebted to their kindness and not bear to reject what thay had been teaching me, bt based on the fact that WBTS is indeed a cult, so i think i shall end this "bible study" as it would be very pointless to continue learning from them since their doctrines are questionable.....I'm so sorry,friend.........
